Viridian Seeds (VS) is an ag-biotech company whose mission is to develop the next-generation seeds of sustainable protein crops (Super-Legumes) with novel traits adapted to grow in UK/Europe climate and soil conditions and legume-based products to promote sustainable food systems and help mitigate climate change.

VS have a proprietary AI-assisted non-GMO multiple gene discovery platform (GDP) for accelerated product development (3 years versus 10 years classical breeding and in a cost-effective manner). We aim to become the leading supplier of plant-based proteins and food products by generating new climate- smart varieties of super-legumes, hereby addressing an upcoming 162 billion USD market (2030). Our products will benefit farmers, consumers, and the planet.

Viridian Seeds has joined Villa Blu by Robertet to accelerate its growth, innovate and create unique climate-smart seeds for farmers, grains and food products for consumers. It is also interested to explore collaboration with Robertet group to improve their crops of interest for sustainable new product development.
